Same as you did the top one, but upside down lol
pair of pliers and small ball hammer and some lucozade!
bit late now but a length of the bonnet support usually works. Best job is the hinge pin removal tools...

I find these rubbish to be honest, a nice long thin bolts to hit in then pull out is much better and cheaper.

old bonnet stays are the best brought one off them tools it was sh<t
ive always uesed the spare bonnet holder trick.
Just soak it in wd40 the day or two before.
Bonnet stays, cut down long screwdriver used as a punch, long bolts etc. Anything is better than the horrendous Draper 'door pin removal tool'.
oops - I stand corrected...

If they are very tight and you cant get the right wack at it, cut the bolt /bonnet stay in about 5 or 6 small lenght( 1or2 cm)and tap one in on top of the other and the pin should come out and all your bits should fall to the floor
Tackled the door pins myself today. Tried the bonnet stay and couldn't get on with it so bought a Clarke Automotive Door Hinge Tool (http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cht262-automotive-door-hinge-tool) and had both doors off in minutes.

I wrecked two sets of those hinge removing kits and went through a whole can of WD40 trying to get doors off my Nova. If your lucky and the pins aren't too siezed inside then the kit maybe fine. But with the pins being stuck where they are for like 20 years thats not always going to be the case - the punch bits in that kit just arent strong enough, the door pins are tougher and can just wear them down!
At the time I hadn't heard of the bonnet stay trick, and I ended up just cutting the rust out of my doors and repairing them instead.
