c20ne turbo

can any one tell me if i should put a spacer plate in my engine its a 20ne.
i thought no with it being lower compresion to a 20seh.
any help greatfull

with a good head gasket on s ensibel size turbo they will handle up to 10psi or thereabouts from experience.

if you use a spacer plate it wont pink as much when runnig highish boast.but down side is if the spacer is to big it will be dead until it comes on boast

my mate ran a t4 on 16psi for around 6 months, still stron when sold it, all he did was new HG.

He is now planning on running a T3 on under 10psi.

Let pistons & rods are cheap & asy to fit ofcourse.
If you can take care of the ign timing, the CR shouldnt be an issue. It all depends on how pikey you want to be with it, just bear in mind if you cut any corners with a turbo conversion, you will need to adopt some sympathy with your right foot.
