Can Anyone Tell Me If There Are Different Looms For The C20xe Engine? I Was Told The Only Difference In Looms Was Coil Pack And Non Coil Pack Engines, So I Have Bought A Loom For The Non Coil Pack Engine, Yet Im Left With A Few Plugs On The Loom That Go No-where, And Some Bits Like The Lamba And Oil Temp Switch With Nothing To Connect To Loom Wise.... Its C*ck.

Can Anyone Shed Any Light On It For Me As Im Getting Really Hot And Bothered With It All... Lol Cheers

Whats with the caps at the start of every word??!! lol

Could be an early spec loom, hence no lambda sensor connection. Oil temp connector cut off?

Caps At The Start Is Due To Caps Lock And This Forum..... Wierd... Cant Turn Caps Lock Off On My Keyboard Lol.. So Are There Two Looms Then?

I have a coil, but the coil pack loom is missing connections i need. Seems like there could be 3 looms, like one early, one middle (with the bits i need) and one dispack one :S

AFAIK there's 20XE, C20XE distributor and C20XE dispack

Do you know what year the engine is? I assume you have an early 20XE engine - same as I had, the first loom I bought had all sorts of extra gubbins iirc lol

Astra GSi coil pack loom will have the traction control conectors in the loom (1 or 2)

looms are different depending which car they came out of, be it calibra/cavalier mk3 or astra mk3 they have some connectors in different places. some have the constant live and switched live at the end by the ecu some have them by the coil pack.

I was told it was an astra 2.0 around 1992. Can i find out off the nuber stamped on the front of the engine block?

Is there any way i can find out what car its from and what loom i need?

my engine number is c20xe 14077 056 (or) 058.. cant make out the last number
