I'm currently mid xe conversion on my pov spec hatch and its having a little make over at the same time. Its a flame red (pink) three door and I have a set of cesaros which are getting painted gloss black, new doors both sides, new gsi side skirts (unpainted) and an early tailgate complete with Gsi spoiler. I have bought a pair of gsi bumpers which need painting either way as they are currently silver but I can't decide whether to do them red or a replica colour of an unpainted bumper. My local paint factors have done me a sample blue/grey textured paint matched off my brand new side skirts and it does look perfect but I can't decide so I'll leave it up to you lot

Aslong as you dont paint the bumpers in black your on to a winner!

Hard tho, as red does look nice but so does grey...

Get a pic up and some photoshops doing..

Cheers for the photoshop option Dave but I have loads of pictures of both but can't decide. The sides are body coloured but the skirts are staying as vauxhall intended. I did think about gloss black but I don't want to paint the skirts as they are brand new and I defiately don't want it to look like a bad copy of Nick's or Simps'

Looking at your first post again....i'd say go for a colour as near to the skirts as possible.

The colour in perfect and textured also so they'll look like brand new ones hopefully but there is something telling me that red gsi's look very good

There's no harm in it, It's just the same when others do SR rep's or re shell sports (apart from they use the cars ID) etc.

At the end of the day it's three letters on a DVLA log book! lol
If everything is to the spec of a GSi then whats it matter?

It doesn't matter but you can usually tell a fake straight away anyway. Just a bit odd seeing loads of cars badged up as gsi's when they clearly aren't!

Graeme

It won't be getting badged up as anything, just a lot of red Novas with black/ grey bumper and just trying to be different if that is possible

Badge it as a GTE but mk2 GSi rep it that will get tongs wagging! lol
