Cheers peeps.
Just looking at IRS setups and it seems like most only use the one control arm setup and not double wishbone - is that normal?

I'm trying to weigh up how much work my tubs will need to be converted for rwd and whether its worth doing it now.
If you're desperate I can flip one of my Cavs onto its roof for you.
Also, they're the same back end set up as a 2.0 Carlton, now theres some trivia for you. ;)
Edit: Thats the correct set up. Its a good bit wider then the Nova but it is doable and a Carlton 2.0 diff will fir nicely.

Had always planned to make it rwd but wanted to get it running fwd 1st so I can enjoy it this year (not done a trackday for 2 years ffs!!) but might just save myself the additional cost and start doing it now.
Looking at using a Porsche 924 setup as the gearbox is at the back with the diff so will have near 50/50 weight distribution. I'm just looking at what suspension options I'll have.
Could you not just knock up some trailing arms and a craddle to mount the diff ? similar kinda thing to what ZCars use ?

For how cheap trailing arms are to buy with bushes and everything included I might not need to. I think the 924s wheelbase is very close to that of a nova anyway.
