whats the difference between the same size both sides people keep going on and your standard long shaft / short shaft?
or am i getting confused?
the gearbox is sat to the passenger side of the engine bay. so the drivers side shaft is about double the length of the passenger one to meet up to the differential in the gearbox.

i know how drive shafts work... just it was mentioned runnign the same size shafts? which is what i don't get as this isn't possible?
with a c20let/c20xe you can use the equal length setup from a calibra. this has a small shaft which bolts to the engine. so then you can get a custom short shaft to fit. making both shafts almost the same length. this helps quite abit with torque steer

is there a equal length set up out there from other vauxhals i.e mix and match to get this to work or is the outter shaft a custom/aftermarket only thing?
