Fair swap?

im just wondering if swapping a mk1 SR bumper for a snowplough would be fair?

Having a snowplough is really not great in April IMHO.

November-February is really more worthwhile.

Not sure why you want to put a plough on a late mk1 though? I'd keep the oe bumper and grille.

/\ agreed, it looks great on a really early mk1, but on the blue-grey models, it won't look right, unless all the other placky bits get swapped too

Facelift SR bumpers are worth about £30, 'ploughs go for ~£80-100.

i like the plough's though but id still rather have the facelift bumper me!!

yea its a general motors one!! he brought it from germany for me on the parts run he does its been in some warehouse with loads off vauxhall bits and he can get them!!

ignore the mess off a bedroom its not that bad any more! but yea i have been looking for one off these a bootlid vinyl ect ect ect for over 8-9 years!! then i notced duick selling parts and have had a few things off him!!

all depends on condition really, if it's a mint sr bumper for a sha**ed plough then fair deal imho. but if they are both in good condition the plough is the winner.

get a new one like i showed you and dont bother with the plough thats for early sr's will look wrong as its the worng shade!!

by the end of this year the gsi kit with speedlines is getting a rare sight lol
