Just an official note to say that John (Spudly) has been brought on board as a moderator. We felt it was a good idea seeing as I myself am having connection problems, and Adam is in the process of a house move, as well as our numbers and forum hits steadily climbing.

So cut him some slack whilst he gets to grips with the way we run the forum :thumb:

There is no 'way of getting in' as such. Really, its just a case of when we need someone, we choose a likely candidate and approach them. John has moderated / admined before, so he knows how the board works.

TBH asking for a position is the worst way to go about it. Just being a valued member and showing enthusiasm for the club is the best way to go about it. Thats kind of how I got into the whole thing back in the PVG days, how Dan and Ian got into it back in the early NL days, and how Ade has recently got into it now.

We actually had to beat Ade to a pulp before he would join us. Something about Dan's soft spot for ginger sporrans was giving him serious reservations lol
