Hey Guys,
today i got some peanut butter as it has been recommended to me that it works for restoring colour to bumpers, and it does!
I even used it on the spoiler and SR vinyl :)

Bit of an artistic pic:

Then I got some nail varnish remover and got the tint off the top part of the lights, looks miles beter IMO:

I'm going to respray the side vinyl Matt Black :thumb:
Front bumper hasn't been done, the bottom is ok but the paint is coming off the top part, so I might need a new bumper.

But i'm well pleased with the results :D
Cheers

I just thought, shouldnt you have a warning sticker on your car as you could have someone who is allergic to nuts walk past and brush your car then die of stupidity (oops i mean allergic reaction obviously lol)

lol lol lol AND MORE lol

The wonderful power of peanut butter.

Smooth FTW - any brand FTW - avoid the "organic" variety- too ponsey!

We shoud get some png stickets made up (peanut nova club) - do not lick my bumper - contains nuts!

I wouldve thought it would be fairly long lasting but tbh ive always found you need to redo them at least once or twice a month to keep em mint so id guess about the same for this method?

Im a clean freak usually so i do mine with bumper gel but as often as i can lol

depending on the weather and how often you drive the car it'll last at least a month (I wash mine once a month and peanut butter once a month) - the oils in the spread help repel water and grime. if you give them a deep clean and really polish them up it can last longer.

TBH Ive found it lasts just as long as any chemical based cleaner.
But I've saved an absolute bomb in both money and space...

there is another method you can do............ heat the bumper's with an air gun they come up loverly but be careful you dont melt them lol. i did it on my corsa stopped like new for ages still have to do the odd buffing with bumper care but looks nice.
