Hai lol

SO I have the X16XE running and all going sweet but it hesitates on starting so I'm thinking this may be to fo with the numerious Vacume hoses laying all over the place. Could someone please photograph where their pipes come from and go to as the car runs like a bag of sh1te at the minute.

Yeah mate, they're sweet!! Where does the hose from the FPR go to? Also, theres a small black Box with 2 wires plugged into it and what looks like 2 Vacume hose inlets on it, where do they go? I also found a Vacume Hose inlet on my Brake Servo Pipe.

Cool, so FPR goes off into the Inlet, the box type thing goes into the inlet as well and the thrid one goes where? Presumably the Brake Servo?

it goes to the charcoal canister lads, just stuff it into the chassis leg.

lol just as i was having problems with mine lol

The little black box is the fuel vent valve thing, so carbon canistor. Mine is just blocked off but with the wiring still connected so i dont get any more ECU lights.

in a nova all you need is the MAP sensor and Fuel Pressure Reg connected.

The nipple on the front of the inlet goes to the rocker cover.

4th one can be blanked as this is for the Fuel Tank Vent Valve (red 2pin connector) this can be completely blanked off (no vacuum connections at all)

then your main brake servo pipe onto the inlet. if the one way valve has any nipples these can be blanked as a nova will not need them (air con and SAI on corsa use them)

Cheers CK. I know this is gonna get me in trouble, but I put the engine back into a Corsa!! My SAI has however been removed completely so basicially I have the same set up as BIGS and NOVABIKECARB have.

So in summery, if I go by what I've already said and just block the Brake Servo Vacuem, that should be it?

Good question Dod. I could also do with knowing if the rubber pipe will be adequate as I've used samco hosing instead of the plastic pipe. Just not sure if it will be okay. I've not had mine out yet to try lol

Ive just thought, he did change it because it was a rubber hose before and said it needed to be a plastic one
