im looking to upgrade my disks and pads as they are standard calibra ones but dont know what to go for  im thinking drilled and grooved disks with some red stuff pads. I have seen some omp 286mm disks on ebay, will they be compatable with my calibra calippers? if not can anyone drop me a link to point me in the right direction. thanks people :thumb:

EBC yellows, Mintex M1144/1155's Ferodo DS2500 (if you want the ferodos then contact circuit supplies near silverstone since they are sole UK importers of the DS2500 and above pads)

and plain good ole fashioned cheapie discs :D

have a read of the braking article ;)

My bro bought a set of grooved and drilled 256 x 24mm discs from a UK engineering company off eBay for his 16v Sri Cav and bought EBC Black Pads OE spec road use and he said it was a gigantahugemassive improvement from his el cheapo discs (or were they GM, can't remember) and GM pads.

Avoid Red Stuff unless its for track use. They just won't get enough heat into them on the road.

Yellowstuff are good, have them on my Celica. I used Mintex M1144 on the saloon, on the ATE calipers with standard discs they were good. On the V6 calipers with grooved discs from CRN they're brutal :D
