Hazard swich mod !!!

I was going to modify my hazard swich the other day so it couldn't make a circuit when you turn them upside down, I know it's a black wire but there are two sets of black wires 1 wire on it's own and 2 wires together is it the 2 wires I cut and join together ? coz I'm not sure cheers
