whats the diff between cream and blue injectors for a redtop

cream from an early engine
blue from a late engine
IIRC, cream run on a higher fuel pressure ;)

i thought it was the blue that run higher with the 3 bar regulator

(Correct) When used on an XE. Though I guess the differences are more to do with the later coilpack Motronic management.

I think its safe to assume the Blues have a lower flow rate than the creams.

so could you run the fuel rail and reg form the later engine and the cream injectors and keep the s bar and have the better flow rate aswell or would that not work

when the injectors have their correct regulator the flow rate between them is practically no difference. about 10cc i think.

only advantages running the blues is that they have the 4 pintle type nozzles on them rather than 1 making them have a way better spray pattern. mainly helping with emissions/economy...
