lol
no idea what its off buy my mate was guna turbo his civic with it. its an IHI one and i was told that it may possibly be off a TD something lol.

Thinking about putting it on a 1.6 8v. want to keep my small block.

What would be involved with fitting one? i can think of
Pistons & Rods
FMIC
Boost Pipes
Management

if its a derv one youll melt it in minuites. on a 1.6, just look at dirtydog1's corsa in projects.

the ihi is on everything spud, common as chips. dont double gasket, its the bodge way.

I've seen Cav TD ones used on Honda Civics without any melting. The Turbo started to leak oil after 3 or 4 Days on the track but thats was it.

due to the higher egt's the internals will melt if pushed hard. there is a small possibility that the gt15(t2) used on teh cav td's is a petrol unit, but i have also heard there are 2 types of gt15......
