had a BMW 320 then a CAV TD, Omega 2.5 V6 CDX, then a 200sx, skyline, MG ZS TD+ now after insurance pay out want a LPG motor as silly fuel price and modern kits only lose 1-3% of power.

Been looking on autotrader & ebay n there is not a huge amount already done out there. Astra G's, odd big engine BMW load of old 4x4 (not a fan).

So seem I have a choice get anything with 30-40k on the clock and have converted myself or just take a punt on a Vauxhall Astra G with thier LPG system (told there not great n parts for their LPG system V-hard to get hold of).
OR
Pay good money for a Volvo on a 53-56 plate bi-fuel from factory etc....?

Prob is too much choice and no real need or purpose for my car now apart fom want it too be cheap to runaround town and to and from friends in london, sheffiled etc.....!

Any ideas as been looking for about 5 weeks now & kind of doing my head in!:tard:

VX220 non turbo... 40 mpg without the need for driving like a gay/having LPG on board etc and its a good laugh when you want it to be

Peugot(sp?) 206 turbo diesel is very economic, only cost about 30 to tax iirc, does about 60 - 70 mpg.

^ Slammed silver Elite around here. They do look the bollocks. I've always been a fan of the facelifts and I don't like many cars. lol

VX220 to go up and down the motorway, supermarket runs, time to time getting kids from school and b roads every day "I'm not 17 any more ride too harsh" LOL
The LPG means I can afford to have a fun wk-end car ;-) every penny I save on daily runner menas can spend on me and my toys turbo Nova, RWD drift fun etc....

Top of the line Omega again, have seen a dark blue LPG one for sale if I droped it -40mm on 18" signum rims huuuummmmm I quite like the sound of that!

I don't do french car's (unless there free)

just over £3.5k for diesel conversion and theres only a handful of places in the country doing em at the mo.:thumb: Would prob take 2-3 years to get money bk on fuel saving. Plus got a 20% power gain on my last TD by just pluging in a turning box. Nice thought tho
