rite my nova has got a fault when im turning left i indicate and the indicators flash fine then i brake they stop flashing and just stay on till i stop braking and they work again is this just a bad earth and how do i sort it cheers

yes, bad earth at one of the rear clusters. When the brake lights come on the poor earth can no longer cope with the load....iirc the earth lead tends to be brown.... but this will be obvious as it will be attached to the bodyshell with a small self tapping screw or bolt. attend to this bad connection and add copper grease to it to stop it happening again.
this is common where there's a salty atmosphere--- ie clacton!
lol Hes correct. Check the plugs on the back of the lights and the earth is eather through the light on on the back panel. Cant remember which.

the earth is on the backpanel just to the left of the center as you are looking into the boot
rite checked and cleaned the earth on the back pannel and cleaned the conections on the back of the light and still have the problem
if i splice in to the earth (ie brown wire) on the back of the light cluster and run a wire from there to the rear pannel would this help ? cheers
any help peps i wanna try and sort this today

yeah worth a try, the wire might be fractured internally i guess.
