Looking for brakes that'll fit an nova and stop an xe engined car.

The car failed it's mot so I need decent condition discs and calipers - with pads.

Cash waiting and as close to Glasgow as possible to allow me to collect.

I'm running 16inch Sppedlines so they need to fit under the Allessios

what litre is the engine.

if its a 2.0 then go for big 256mm brakes etc

any thing smaller then im sure gsi brakes would be fine.

I've got some calipers from a cavvy sri here, think there 256mm. Got pads on them no discs though.

Can have them gratis if you want to collect?

Yes, I have plenty of sets of 256mm front brakes (2 litre Astra type).

Cheap to buy, good stoppers and I can post them.

It's running a 2ltr, so presume just a case of swapping the discs and calipers.

Was the set up you had on a Nova?

What are the calipers so that I know the type of pads to get. What sort of condition are they in too?

Cheers

They'll be an Astra GTE/Chavalier GSI/SRI/Calibra 16v etc Pads and discs are cheap and easily available. Plus any servicing parts can be bought from GM

nearly everyone on here is probably running them and colin probably has about a thousand sets lol

so easy to get parts for. just mind the issue of wheels fitting over them

i think ya need anything bigger then 5.5j and like 14 inch but dont quote me on it
