yeh, heard about this. the pit computers said he was 3rd though, even the comentators mentioned it. they must have found something in the radio lol...

would be interesting to find out!

im not a hamilton hater, he must have worked hard to get to where he is, and he must have peddled that car hard on sunday to get to 4th/3rd on the grid though. never met him so cant really comment on his personality, but he is a bloody good driver!

That moves me up like 4 places in the fantasy F1 thing lol only 6 points behind top now... kind of a shame for him after the drive he gave, but he shouldn't have tried lying his way into 3rd!

His team lied, was the impression i got. Never mind though, only the first race, another 16 to go yet. Still proved he can drive from he back with a poor car. Imagine what he will do when/if McLaren sort out the car later this season!!!

IMO, none of this would have happened if Ron Dennis was still at the helm of McLaren.

yeah i'm reading the BBC coverage, seems it was the teams fault as they failed to mention that they told hamilton to slow down and let trulli pass, then claimed foul play at the end of the race. That's what I'm hearing between the lines in an interview with the current mclaren chief anyway, obviously he's spinning it as a big misunderstanding where they got stung but they're not appealing the decision lol

Chimp used to be a Bridgestone engineer...

Lewis was advised incorrectly, is how i am reading it. Unfortunately his team screwed up and hs is paying the price.

Stewards were asked DURING the race by McLaren - TWICE - about the Trulli situation. They didn't respond either time, they knew all about this before they went asking questions.

They say "new evidence has come to light" but the radio between Hamilton and McLaren was always available to them. If they'd bothered to do their job in the first place this would've been avoided.

And i gets worse for LH...:(

Fined for speeding at this weekends GP in Malaysia. And potentially excluded from this years championship. WTF??

Regardless of whether you are an LH fan or not, this is abit on the harsh side IMO.

Here here.

Dave Ryan (McLarens tech chief) was suspended this morning. He was the one that gave Hamilton the orders over the radio.
