With my conversion kit i was given 2 ECU's. I was told that one of them was chipped and the other not. Could someone advise me how to open them up to check which is chipped and which isn't.
Secondly the codes on the ECU's are different, and i dont know if i can use them both, or just one of them.
The engine im fitting is the DIZZY type with a lamba sensor in the exhaust. Believed to be an astra c20xe engine.
The ECU codes both have MOTRONIC stampped on the front, with the same connectors, but one has FP in bold white letters on the label, and the other has GX
FP- Bosch 0 261 200 185 GM 90 299 569 (FP)
GX- Bosch 0 261 200 479 GM 90 410 501 (GX)
Can they both run the engine/sensors, or is there only the one that will, or even worst case do neither of them fit?
If i was to try them both would i do any damage to the engine/sensors?
