In need of a new CV joint, but dont know what will fit? Im running an f16 box, and the driveshafts are beleived to be 22spline. What cv joint will fit my shaft, and fit in the box? Need one due to the current one falling apart and leaving me with 3 ball bearings lol

inner or outer? outers are all the same, inners you will have to check your shafts to make sure, iirc everything is 28 on the outside, 'normal' shafts are 26 on the inside 28 outside, and some 1.6's are 26/28 on the hub end and 22 inside 28 outside on the gearbox end... exact numbers are off the top of my head but that's the general idea of whats going on

Im looking for the one that connects to the shaft at one end, and into the gearbox at the other. I was told my shafts were 22 spline, but thats all i know. Should i count the splines on the shaft itself (the part that fits in the joint) and then the splines on the joint (where it fits in the box). Once i get the spline numbers, is there any way i can work out what standard cv joint would fit, say like an astra or cavi one?

I think its a mk2 cavalier 1.6 inner CV that you need.

Sorted now, apparently my shafts were different to what i was told, they were 2.0 mk2 cavi joints... all together and sorted now, just trying to work out how to stretch the CV boot to fit lol.
