aye that was me im tighter than 2 coats of paint. when a tourist gives me a english note i tell them its only worth 4.50 in scots money lol

I lost a fiver too today. Unlike you mine hasn't resurfaced :(. It couldn't have been the one that's in my pocket and nearly torn in half though could it.

get it in the tumble drier mate, works a treat :) I did it with 30 quid...left it in my work shirt, then washed it, still didn't know, put shirt in tumble drier, it came out..ooh look 30 quid in me shirt pocket.

i found 50 quid i had borrow from my rents which i hadnt spent so i repaid them straight away, bonus lol

I remember when I was a kid sticking a fiver back together with selotape that'd been washed at a laundrette when I was on me hols camping (it was a rainy day) - managed to get it all back except one part of the serial number. The wifey who owned the shoip was so impressed with my patience she gave me a new 50p for my trouble!
I was more impressed with a new shiney 50p than a tatty bit of paper!
