I've been offered a VW equiped Disc Brake rear beam that was used on a Rally car but it never used Handbrake cables as the car had a Hydrolic handbrake, I know some people (Craig Green) have this set up on the rear of their cars, how do you work the Handbrake?

I used a mk1 golf/caddy handbrake on my old gte. Went to the scrappy and cut the small section of floor from around it.

On the saloon, there wern't any mk1's about so used an early mk2 item. Both were from drum equiped cars..

Heres the mk2 golf on from the saloon..

They may always be a way to make up something fancy, but using the golf stuff is the easier option...
