recently bought a nova gsi, with standard engine and the ideling of the engine was abit poor felt like it was going to cut out on tickover, i thought it may need to tps adjusting but now ive dun that its made it worse its not ideling atal now, tryed adjusting it back but no luck, anyone help? thanks

try adjusting you TB for the air fuel mix.

A screw on the front of the throttle body (TB) anti clockwise to increase idle spped, clockwise to reduce.

Make sure the TPS is set correctly so that it clicks as you come off idle & that the throttle stop isnt holding the butterfly open.

You havent played with C0 pot (screw) on the air flow meter have you?

ps. Lumpy idle is often an air leak on the inlet pipe as they are all getting old now.

ok will try the screw on tb, nope havemt toughrd that screw

adjusted that screw on tb, hasent made a difference:confused:

try the inlet hose my mates had same problem and that was it
