I know I've definitely seen these before but did they come in any novas originally or were the ones I saw sprayed?

Apparently there was a mk1 dash available in black although I have never seen one. I think Baxter had one but not sure, also there was a new black ashtray for a mk1 dash at the last spares day to back up the theory.

You could get very dark brown door cards
They came in swings and sports

Just checked EPC and it lists a black dash in LHD & RHD fitments plus all the other related dash parts. Trim code 918, not found any black door trims listed though.

baxter one was sprayed but i beleave he saw one in an opel corsa a gt

Yes, Rich, you're right, black dash but no black door panels.
As the black dash was in Special model "Moda" and that one had blue door cards

The ones in my 2.0 project are black, early models had brown ones.

Knew I'd seen them somewhere, are they definitely original, doesn't scratch to grey or anything? You may have settled an argument in my favour lol

Originally brown, not black?
