Rob's Spider is one of my favorite Novas of all time, remember coming back from the Pod, him and Ste went past us with the roof down and was going considerably faster than us to say the least, and it sounded brilliant, would love to see where it is up to now

There is some fibreglass kits on eBay for the Nova, think that when i got some cash sorted, i might get myself one :D you can keep the std bumpers but you get wider arches & skirts that fit it good

Mattig and Reiger are the absolute beginning of Extreme Modifying. The kits are so outragious that they are indeed ****ing **** hot. THAT is Epic and deserves massive respect. Mattig Extreme kits Rock and if you dont get them, then you dont get the idea of modifying.

NathanSRi

if you dont get them, then you dont get the idea of modifying.
Surely the idea of modifying a car is to create a car that you yourself enjoy and is exactly the way you want it? but just because you think it is, there will always be people, and in this case, lots of people that will have the opposite opinion, so i dispute the fact that people dont get the idea of modifiying just because they dont like this kit.

See, text book. You dont get it.

You open up the first edition of Max Power and you have Dimma Pugs and Mattig Astras and Reiger everything else, 5 years on and everything is Pineapple Yellow with no bigger that 15" Wheels and all the lights are Jet Black.

Now its different, everythings slammed on big rims but never the less, the Mattig was right there at the very start and demands respect for being the one of the first proper Modified Cars.

So?
Just because it was at the very start doesnt mean people have to like it.

DOH!!!

Personally I believe that yes because it was one of the first proper modified cars that yes you do have to respect it and you have to look deeper that the styling, its the whole concept, the work involved and the outcome to fully appreciate it. THATS what I'm saying.

Too many european would be "tunners" make kits that do nothing but ƒail HARD.

Besides looking like a MF abortion it's adding weight and killing the handling balance. HELLO MCFLY it's front engined FRONT wheel drive; the LAST thing you wanna do is put wider wheels & tyres on the back. Retards.

In fact even if it was 752bhp N/a at the rear wheels [which might be justification for the ga$h width] I wouldn't wanna live with something looking like that.

novaguy08
01-04-09, 10:30 AM
huh, I looked at the Mattig website and couldnt find that......... BRoadGhost is right, albeit a bit harsh with the retards comment, massive rear wheels has no point in a FWD car, if you were to do what chip did and lump the engine in the boot you really would wanna put wide rear wheels on it. This kinda kit would look shat hot on a Rear engined car with big power taking on the race track, kinda reminds me of Group B rally cars!

bai1ey
01-04-09, 11:19 AM
tbh tho you do gain from wider wheels on fwd cars i dont care what any of you say think about it if you have skinny biscuit tin lids on it you are goin to get uber tyre roll and be heading into most corners on your tyre walls evan on the back yes i agree if you have skinny front wheels and wider rears on a fwd car you are not gonna see a massive increase in hadling but your tyres are not going to roll. My view on the matter only.
