Small brake upgrade

JUst wondering what a nice upgrade on a 1200 nova fro the brakes, it will always be standard power, just like something a bit better. Was think would corsa B brakes fit something of a Sri/Sport maybe?

what wheels are you using??

if 5j14 or smaller, you are limited a bit. if you are using 5.5j14 or bigger, 236mm x 20 vented discs (gte type) and ATE calipers from an astra mk3 is pretty good.

236x20mm will fit under 5j14, 256x24mm will fit under 5.5j14.

The wheels are 5.5J X 14" didn't even think about a astra

if you are keeping 13", the astra diesel calipers seem to be a good upgrade...

SR wheels are 4.5J, GTE/GSI wheels are 5J.

Don't need to big a brakes, just something a bit better. Corsa b or mk3 Astra might be good though do I require new dics?

i would say yeh new discs as then they can all match together

and yeh the astra ate calipers foul the 5j gte alloys as i found out

I had some 256x20mm but no idea what they from!
