if you planning to go -60 i would seriously consider getting dampers. Your standard dampers are meant to sit that low. You'll just bottom out all the time

get the spring/damper kit from gmax. cost me ?30 for second hand springs and ?140 for brand new dampers all round and damn, the ride is good!

if your short on cash you can jus put the 60 drop on your standard dampers, then in the future buy the dampers seperatly. i ran the standard shocks with a 60 drop for a few months and had no probs! go to a local scrappy and pick up the springs for 20 quid.

if you run -60 springs on standard shocks you run the risk of the rear springs comin loose from their holdings on the rails. this could obviously have bad consequences whild driving. if you have an accident, even one not caused by the springs comin loose, you may find you policy is void when you come to claim. all suspension manufacturers clearly state no more than a -40 drop on standard shocks. the insurance company will deem your vehicle unsafe.

but hey its your car not mine

DON'T put -60 springs on standard dampers! i did this and drove around normally for 3 months. first month was fine then the ride got sloppier and more and more rubbish.

when i came to put the gas shocks in, both standard dampers (front) were pissing oil!
