well burgo and i spent a good few hours today scraching our heads and messing around with wiring and coils.

All good fun but after replacing 2 coils and making a ht lead with a self tapper it finaly runs!

the highlight off the day would be taking the key out of the ignition and the nova carried on running! lol had to be there

many thanks to burgo rep+

well as ive booked my tickets for pv i thiught i had better pull my finger out and get it sorted!
so today i started the welding i cut out the os sill and put a new one in!
only my welder was being a ar*e and was cutting out every 10 seconds so it just looks like pigeon poo at the mo.

other side to do tomorrow and a few more plates then make up some brake pipes then its mot time!!!

BODGSI
04-05-09, 06:02 PM
started the ns sill today and wot fun ive had. when cutting out the old sill i found a previous repair body filler where the quauter panel meets the sill it must have been out 1cm thick.
so ive had to cut a massive chunk out of the quarter panel to get to something i can weld to then found the inner arch is falling to bits . any way the repair panel is now cut so it fits and will be welding it all in tomorrow!

also was welding in the rain wont be doing that again lol!

burgo

Your old engine is up and running, need to get it on the floor and let it get nice and hot next was too late to keep it running tonight. Tapping a lot but its not run in a year or so has it?

I bloody wanted this car just over 12 months ago :( came so close to getting it and the bugger got sold whilst I was getting the money out

I dont suppose you'd be wanting to sell it now would you? If it's road worthy I'd be 100% interested. The headgasket's just gone on my mondeo and rather than repair it, this would make a nice replacment just in time for PVS :tard:
