My nova merit plus has bit the dust and has a new owner now but happen to fall across this, 1988, 2 owners 42,000 miles and quite mint. Fitted a set of new 14" Compomotive Th's alone with Dunlop SP Sport 01's 185/60/14 and a genuine Vauxhall Battery, just waiting of the Bilstein suspension comming and lowering springs. Not sure on the blue centre caps though?

Really want to mint the SR it with nova sport carbs, have sourced plenty of panels but the sunroof is going, unless I go to Germany to lift a roof skin.

Thats what I was thinking myself, would like to get a set anodised green, can you re-anodise them again?

The plan is lower, and paint the underneath, SR nova headrests and a nice front loader, possibile europlates and few small decals to be made up! Though a set of bigger brakes and a 5 speed box would be nice too. Only keeping it this summer as I've a SR to sort out.

She originally came form the South of England and them a guy bought it from Sterling, Scotland and had it 4 years until I got it last Saturday. The spare is still unsed and I don't think it's even seen paint, though I'm no expert.

Sorry no pic's but freed up the two shock bolts on the bag axle, took a little heat and a week of wd40 spraying but at least I don't have to tap the captive nuts or drill out broken bolts. The Bilsteins arrived today, just have to collect them at eurocarparts in Belfast, but the cars not going to be lowered for Easter Sunday, can't get H&R springs for 10-12 days so I have descides to have a set custom made.

Just playing about tonight, fitted new wind deflectors but not 100% sure about them, what do you think? Cleaned the wheels a little as well. Sorted out the coil springs today too, 30mm drop all round, though it will not be done before the Easter Sunday meet

I've order custom springs with standard poundage, 30mm drop and OE Bilsteins, I'm not a fast driver and it's only for dry summer use, so I went for comfort, though saying that, if I don't like the set up I go for coil overs, as this set up can go into my SR.

Just a 1.2, the company that can do it the anodising dosen't do green :( . Down at my Grandads at the weekend and he's into bikes and his magazines have loads of adverts so they will be green at some point.

The correct shock is BNE-1966 but is now deleted and replaced by C602 (I think?) they had a pair but not matching, me being fussy I wanted a matching pair. Having springs made so I'll see how it all works out. If not probably go the coil over route
