right iam just about to do my insurance and am wanting it full comp so does this mean i can drive any other vehicle as long as its got insurance and i have the owners permission
depends on the insurance you are with. best to give them a call and find out

Also some will only let you once you are over 25. Normally you are covered up to TPF&T when someone else gives you permission
Nope, check with your insurance. It's usually extra if you have a modified car or are a car mechanic etc.
they wont even do it if your a mechanic or work in the motor trade :mad:

When I was 21 I asked to have it put on as extra and they said no chance
Even if you are/can. The other car has to be insured!
Something alot of people forget/dont think about. Who are you insured with?
As with his you get it even on a leaners on 3rd party.

I'm 23 but on my old nova policy which expired last week, I could drive any vehicle 3rd party with the driver's permission. That was a classic car policy with HIC. Most "standard" car policies wont cover you any more, and the few that do have to be 25.

The car still has to be insured, and it can only be a car. No vans or anything.
