C20 XE loom queries HELP!!!!!

i now have my Xe nova running but have a few queiries?

just so u kno my nova was a 1200 SPI with the ECU and loom which has made things a little more fiddly

1) i have removed various parts of the 1200 loom that i dont think i need can someone confirm if im correct

removed the following:

octane plug and the other loom plug mounted on the bulkhead as the loom which now runs my XE has its own brown octane plug?

the MAP sensor also mounted to the bulkhead, as ive consulted AUTODATA and vauxhall and the Original XE set up does not ahev a MAP sensor

road speed sensor as i have a digi dash fitted ?

the old coil pack loom ?

most of the above are pictured in section 13:24 of the haynes manual and having removed them have made no difference to the car running?

any help lads?

also do i block up the other pipe on the throttle body as i originally put it to the map/vacuum sensor
Vauxhall Part Number: 12569240
whereas the other outlet is hosed to the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail?
