Has anybody heard/seen a nova that was featured in fast car, the orange fast and the furious nova gte?.............................................. ............
Just wondered if anyone has seen her going around or if shes in nova heaven?

Just wondered cause my dad spent a year building her, kept it a few months then sold it on to a guy in cornwall area and he has never seen or heard of it since, I should amagine all his hard work has gone to waste though lol

Tbh you must of been the mutts nuts back in the day owning the car like that but the bodykitt days are well and truely over for me , it would of been cool to see it in person , i remember total vauxhall wanting kitted novas for the 25th annaversary at PV what was the reg check it out on dvlni , or sorry dvla for yous lol

Well I only drove it a hand full of times, but it really got some looks, to be honest the first trip out in it we were on the M4 coming down to the couldra turn off at newport and some **** spat at it as we were driving so it wasnt everyones cup of tea, we loved it at the time though, and so did Fast Car! the reg was H237BOT so I will have to check it out cheers! :thumb:

thats a good statement, every gsi seems to have speedlines on, altho its different and i suppose back in the day it was probably cool but to see something different is a nice change now
Should of really I was just in complete shock that someone would actually do it to be honest, but then this is Newport!

its looks lot a lot of hard work, but you wont find many on here that will find it there cuppa tea, i appreciate the work gone in to it tho. but as novaboyleon says there are way to many speedlines on alot of nova's, but you have to admit they look good on them and fit snug!

Different yes. Tasteful no. Even back then lol. TBH I remember it as one of the later featured Novas. There was a good few about rocking the OEM look then.
Def agree about the speedlines they look absolutely mint and yes I have always wanted a set on my nova to finish it off!

I think he was quite lucky to have it featured, at the time there was alot of competition and the Notorious nova featured days were starting to fizzle out.

Tbh gsi's with speedlines need slating just as much, or the classic mk1 nova with mk2 dash and cav slabs. Might as well just throw your personality in the bin ffs! lol
Nova with bodykits were cool back in the day if you were a spotty chav, thats it basically, im sure you like it for your own reasons but im afraid most people don't.

is it on the insurance database askmid thats usually a good indication of if its still alive
i really like it tbh, i have the mag somewhere.
That car is scraped! Its was shocking i bought the boot off it and still have it lol . The rear axle snapped and the whole car was a rust bucket. When i had a look at it i cant understand how someone would sell a car in that state! yea the outside might have a shiney paintwork but the underneith was a rotton pear
