I will test them and post up results. It is just smoke, no heat or water got to them.

well if you split ill take the transducer and a bulb out of the back of the clocks, bring on sun meet if your going along.

Ok, so i tested these today. Joined up the brown (earths) and the blacks (live) to a 12v supply. Got the indicator lights, handbrake and EM lights come on...

when you power all the blacks and browns it runs the test sequence on the lcd bit and no bottom warning lamps come on lol

Eh? So how come the bottom lights came on then and no LCD display? Or does it take time?? Oh, and i connected all wires, i.e browns and blacks with stripes.

do you not have to do the same thing on the other plug? i though one plug was for the idicators etc and the other plug was for the LCD display?

edit: never mind lol my plugs were seperate when i got mine, yours arent so you must of done all the wires together lol sorry my bad :)

yeah i didnt think you had then i had another look and realised lol

only thing i can think of is try the plugs seperate because i did this with mine and only the bottom lights came on i split them and then the LCD bit worked.

Connect up the dash again and look closly at it, if you can see any movment then it will be the blubs and not the LCD display.

And il add that brand new blubs from vauxhall are about £5 each.

All the black/browns from the white plug will do. Those lights coming on is due to the black plug, and shouldnt come on unless there getting power (or earth depending on the light)

put teh earths to the neg side of battery, position a torch onto the dials, then connect the lives, if it does its self test thing, its fine, jus bulbs, if not, its naffed, lol
