View Full Version : Taking comp mo wheel stickers off

Ive got new stickers to go on the mo's. But i can scrapy them off with my nails as they are on to good. And i dont want to get a razor as knowing me id probley ending up scratching the paitn. Is is anything i can buy that will get them off :confused:

try wd40 so they loose the stick and slide off mate

well ive tried gt35 and that didnt do much apart from make me waste half a can :(

i would say quick dab of white spirits mate but not to sure as to what will happen to the paint

are they the original stickers ? they may have been laqcuered over ??

Yea they are. They havent been laqcuered over so you lot think i should use a hairdryer then?

Yep or a heat gun. Use to get my old stickers of my autograss cars using a heat gun. just dont hold it to close to the paint!

If they have been laquered over surely you'll have to flat them back and re-laquer the wheels won't you?

I dont think so. Im not touching the wheels just the stickers. Think ill try a heatgun on them or hairdryer
