Mine was slopeing down towards the gearbox, now i've redrilled the mount and raised it and it's the oposite. Going to work on it better when I get my HH competition mounts.

When I originally got mine lined up in the coupe I thought the engine side sat to high so welded the f28 where I thought the engine should be and planned to use a spacer on the drivers mount. Shaun Larnder had to run a spacer on his and that was on std gearbox mounting. Here's mine originally...

I've since decided to redrill the gearbox mount to raise it up to give me more tie bar clearance because I'm running low. Drilling the mount was an **** of a job and I too need to get some solid mounts and look at it again.

It seems to look higher in this picture than actually on the car. The picture got me a bit worried lol
Ive got plenty of room to close the bonnet so should be ok. Can always add a spacer if needed

Well you welded it on ya wolly! didn't you get your tape measure out! lol
Either space gearbox end down (easiest) or redrill drivers mount.

how much space you got for the tie bars?? That looks like its lower on the passenger side
Ive got a fair amount of space. but im going to end up using rose jointed bits as im using a 2.2 block so its another 1cm or two longer then a 2.0 block

Mine was sitting too low, like BIG's, The gearbox hit the tie bar and the inner c.v. joint didnt like the angle.
I redrilled the bracket and raised it, but by too much and the altenator tapped the chassis. I've not removed the bracket and it's currently having all the holes welded up, and i'm going to redrill it in the correct location and add some competition mounts.
Some will say it will be fine at an angle, but I know from experience it needs to be Level
