That pic was over a year ago, and I didn't say it didn't go well... Just what was he thinking with that massive chunk of metal hanging out the front with the top of the bumper flopping about. They're are tidier intercooler examples.

That Gsi was built for big power/speed etc so who give a f*ck?

PS it went 168mph!

I have loads, but they are mostly of mine!

That Gsi is also scrapped now;)

Pretty sure the engine went into his Corsa, not sure on the actual shell though.

Can't remember if I took any pics that day, think I did plus a few vids aswell. I need some sort of unusual cable to get the vids off my camcorder though and couldn't find one last time I looked.

20k up for a good un.

It's about £15k for a good one.

£20k+ for a rebuilt (no rot)

£10k-£15k for an average

£8k-£10k for a rot box.

There's no such thing as a cheap Lotus Carlton.

Not a mint one. you'd have to dig a bit deeper for a minter.

Classic Car insurance. ;)

Costs me less than £180 for 3000 miles a year.

lol

£16k for the engine and box from a car worth £15k

Engine's are around £4k, gearbox around £1k.
