Do all SRi's come with the F13cr box same as a GSi? My Gsi needs a new box and ive found an SRi one. Will it fit?

it will fit but you need to find out if it is a cr or wr. vuaxhall mixed and matched them something rotten!!!

were do u find out which one it is? Cos they all just say F13 on the top dont they?

search for a 12/13 digit number on the side of the box facing the passenger side wheel. it'll either have a c or a w in the middle.

im thinknig you can decipher it from the Vin number? - whack it in to EPC and itll tell ya what gboxes came with that model?

I asked vauxhalls were they were marked cr or wr on the F13 and they said

"All F13's are the same, there were never cr or wr produced"

Its a CDrom based PC system that Vauxhall dealers use, gives part numbers and technical info etc. There are usually some for sale on Ebay for a few ??, just search for 'EPC'

What does EPC stand for anyway....Electronic Parts Catalogue?????

yep Electronic Parts Catalog

its available for download online(found the link at valvers.com):

u will need to download all the files under EPC 2.1

then write em to a CD ensuring the CD's label is "CDGMPE1"

then install it and away u go
