Top one looks good (tempted to rebuild mine as a mk2), bottom one looks... sh!t. Brown is NOT a mk2 colour!

please tell me where this info is from....they stopped the 25year old exemption in 1997 as far as i know... so up to 1972 is free tax

and it is 1972 or befor a car can be tax excemped,i know this as my dad is pi**ed off about it cause his 1973 mk3 cortina is just out for being tax excempted.lol

pre '72 only. The guy that sold me my 360 Lolvo tried spinning that BS (It's an 84 A) lol

Vehicles constructed before 01/01/73, or registered before 07/01/73.

So technically if you can prove your car was buit before that, even if its registered later, you can claim the tax exemption.

It amazes me how many people think its a rolling 25 year thing still.
