im not sure if they did any 1.3 sr's in that colour, theres a rare metallic green colour they did the nova in but was only mk1's

There was a darker, 'proper' metalic green from what i can remember, but i think the nearest to the one on the haynes would be the pastel green that was available on kadett 'c's.

its not an official colour iirc and its not a photoshop - photoshop and come to think of it a decent enough computer to run photoshop wasnt invented when that manual was produced

lol

That's a technical illustration - done by a bloody good draughtsman.

Aye - them were the days!

The OEM nova green wasn't a metallic was it? I've never seen a green SR mind, only poverty spec ones... Come to think of it, I've never seen a facelift Mk1 in green

All 3 of the greens posted were available on early mk1s so far as I know, the metalics were more often found on L or GL models.

for gods sake, you don't need the manual to tell you how to take a bumper off.... 13mm spanner, 10mm spanner & screwdriver 2 minute job.

I think it'd be a smart colour to go for :thumb:

My Haynes has a different Nova on it although its green too. Looking at the car from drivers side and with headlamp washers on bumper.
