im gonna be 17 in may,when can i apply for my provisional lience and is it possible to just go and have my driving test striaght away with out having lessons, cus iv been goin out drivin wiv me dad for last year so i aint bad,

You need to provide a vehicle suitable for an examiner, eg extra mirrors and i think thats it! it may be worth booking 10 lessons with an instructor, its only bout 390 quid, at least then hell tell u of any faults and if your ready! but yeah i think your just able to book the test, but get some tutorial experiance, unless your dad is an instructor, im guessing not!

Ive bin thinkin the same thing i carnt wait no longer 2 turn 17 but is it possible 2 apply for a provisional lience just so i can drive ma car till i go in for ma proper test

I had my provisional when i was 16 cos i was gonna get one of them skanky little moped things, the same things that now i can drive i curse at because they get in my way!!! But you still can't drive a car at all legally until you are 17. I have a feeling you can book the theory test before you are 17, phone the DSA and ask about it, they arent that scary.
Uve just gotta be prepared to wait though, i know what your goin through, i got my car in July and didnt pass until last wednesday, its a bitch but you cant take your test so soon after your birthday cos it'll just be a waste of time!!!
