Angle grinder on the hinges, they should be off in seconds.

Failing that you will need to pull out the pins.

yeah easiest way to remove the pins without the correct tool - use a pair of pliers around the pin the hit the pliers with a hammer to knock them out - best to have an extra pair of hands to!!!

I'v allways used a 30cm length of bonnet stay to tap them out. sounds a bit bodge but works:thumb:. i brought a proper gm tool a while back and it was rubbish tbh.

I have one of the tools, and used it... It did the job, but its buggered now and doubt it'll work on another door. The bonnet stay is a good way!

Ive done the same with the bonnet stay as it does the job very easy just give the pins a good soak in wd40 the night before just for a little bit of help.

when you finally get them out (soak them in penetration fluid for a while) go to Vauxhall and get some cav pins - theire slightly longer making it easier to remove should you need to get the doors off again in the future...

Bend an old bootlid pin slightly-This is the easiest method imo.Use a chisel or punch on top of it when it gets further down

Don't use a chisel unless it's already screwed, tips are hardened and just shatter!

The specific tool worked wonders for me, took 5 mins to do after spending abour hour trying all different sorts of drifts, punches, hammers and alike.
Was only £15-20 or soo IIRC and made it so much easier.

ive always used an L-shaped allen key, u hold the long end and the short end u place onto the pin and tap tap the pin thru half way, then spin the allen key around and use the long end to push it all the way. works a treat.

i always replaced them with the later cav pins and plenty copper grease. then next time they get taken out its easy.
