Dash bulbs

2 of my bulbs didnt work in my dash, the ones for the heater controls, so i removed the dash and changed them but the bulbs blew, i put 12v 1.2a bulbs in.

I then put the bulb that was working into one of the ones that didnt light up and that blew aswell.

Whats going on?

Sounds like a short circuit to me, may be a bad wire somewhere touching the body or something, Have you checked that you have the correct rated fuse for that particular circuit?

Can you tel me what number fuse it is so i can check please.

Checked all wiring and nothing is touching the body, its all tied up in that horrible tapey stuff

The ratings for the fuses are on the fuse box cover IIRC. Check them. Then check your earths?

Sorry mate didnt notice the post.

As Pete 58 said. If you take of the fuse cover it should tell you which fuses are for what circuit of the car.
