alrite need a bit help here,i am on putting a c20ne into my nova but hit a few problems with the alternator and bottom pulley wondered if any one knows which ones to use as the ones thats on the engine uses the wide fan belt which catches if any one can help it will be much appreciated thanks jaye

you need to get a single v bottom pully and alternator i think i have a bottom pully off my old NE

needs to be a c20ne code carlton engine, 20seh ones dont fit

get the grinder on it!! just skim the outer belt bit but you will need to cut the alternator bit out or hit it with a big hammer or i think there is a bracket you can buy but everyone prefers to hammer or cut it!

how much do you want for the pulley,and will it be the same one as what slothsport said

no mate you need to modify it remember big blocks were not made for novas:wtf:

me alternator pulley and bottom one use the six ridge fan belt tho a thort you cudnt modify these ones if so is there any threads and pics on wot to do

like i said, the ONLY way to do it is to get a carlton c20ne bottom pulley and a single v alt. then grind the outer v off the bottom pulley. theres no other way.

so do i get the single v alernator from the c20ne carlton aswell as the pulley mate sorry for my lack of understanding

i have a 20 seh and have not had to take the outer v off as it fits with it on but like sloth said you will need the full set up of the carlton as in the bottom pully and the altanater
