Ash

how long is the turn around?
whats it made out off?
added you to msn :)
Haven't used MSN in ooooo 10 years lol
It will be made of fibreglass, unsure of turn around atm but I'm sorting the materials hopefully tomorrow. The insert is optional and I think it will be a strip of acrylic or foamex or maybe able to supply carbon fibre
Can't quote a price till I made one myself lol Will let you know as soon as I do

This subject came up before & I mentioned a Skyline in a Redline mag have.
Coincidentally I'm about to clear out my non-TV mags so will scan it tomorrow & post it up if I remember.
Its a sort of modular flocked, panelled dash & you can see how its made from its shape & the allen key bolts holding it together.
lee's wasnt light wight i started the trend off.

Is due for a complete rewire this summer. Just what it needs, so no cables for blowers, heated rear, 1 wire for each of the indicators(?!), cigarette lighter, dash illumination etc etc

I fed mine behind the bulkhead on my last 16v, was a PAIN though!
Cant see it too clear here as all the stereo cables are still there, but the main loom is out of sight.

yeh, my grinder ran outta disc from everything else i was hacking out, and they never got done. shame i had to get rid of the car as i didnt have anywhere to store it.
i have another nova now that might get the 'ruthless' track treatment someday down the line, if i still have it in a few years.
the one i have now, i tried hard to keep it totally standard, and managed it for about a month, but the other day the back seats, seat belts and parcel shelf carriers came out, and just today 2 litre brakes and alloys went on it.. i couldnt help myself.
edit : feckit, which jim he says.
I know spot weld drill bits are all blunt waiting for payday to remove allyou can re-sharpen proper spot weld drill bits

crap pic but it is surprisingly tidy. all of the loom is hidden and extended. il have to get some decent pics up of it, but it beats a dash anyday :)

There should be enough lenght in the cable to cable tie up under the bulkhead and this dash took a hole 5 mins to make.
I can even make one if you like from a spare dash shell i have.
unless you want to atack yours with a hacksaw as thats what we used.
