Fitted one of these years ago to my 1.4 Nova engine.

My 1.3SR has the terrible Pieberg auto choked carb and I want to swap it for a manual one. I picked up a carb from a scrappy the other day off a 1.2 but according to Haynes the jets and chamber are smaller so this will under power the car.

What I weant to know is will the weber fit onto my 1.3SR manifold?

:wtf:

No it wont fit.
1.2s had single choke carbs

if its a 32/34 dmtl then its aftermarket on the 1.2 anyways, i've had a 32/34 fitted to my 1.3, so long as the stud pattern for bolting it down is the same. could do with a quick strip to check jet numbers though and finding out if it will work on your motor.

according to webcon (weber's main company) the 32/34 will fit direct on to 1.2 - 1.4 engines - direct replacement for pieburg 2E3...worth a shot...although I think I need new value stems...

32/34 will bolt onto a 1300 manifold if it had a 2e3 bolted to it. Early 1300's only had a 1b1 same as the 1200.

At one point the direct weber replacement for the 1b1 was a 36TLP, a huge single choke carb compared to the 1b1's measly 28mm, my 2-door-loon went like stink with one of those fitted.
