Ok folk, just a quick one, in regards to the 3 way coolant hose on the rear of a xe, im using a custom inlet for my bike carbs, and i remembered that this hose supplys water to the inlet also.

Now my question is, what can i do to resolve this, i have tried a small block hose, but the water pump ends to small!

Also there are two water gallerys at the timing belt side on the inlet side, what are they used for and can i just block them?

These ones http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t74/Cheeze1982/New%20Nova/P1000244.jpg

just blank the redundant hole mate, the galleries should run into the new manifold.

No its a blank plate, so the only holes in it are the ones for the studs and the inlet ports thereselves.

hmm, mine has a small delve in it there. thy must just blanbk it off then. i wouldnt worry, as its just there to warm the manifold on the standard xe.

like sloth said no need to worrie just leaf it blank and bet a big bank made for the 3 way pipe and make sure you have a good clip to hold the blank in place.
