Transducer?

erm, help, lol,

ive wired most of the digi dash in my mk2 saloon, as in the wires inside,

where do i wire the transducer too?

also where do i plug the socket thing on the transducer in?

joe how dense are you
the white bit thats bolted in the top of gear box screws on the transducer
and the wires should all be attached mate
unless youve been fiddling?

theres two place to connect the brown and black so go with good old sloth.

Run all 3 up to the dash, earth to the browns (ofc) Black to a IGN live (with all the other IGN lives.

And the blue/red to the blue/red on the back of the dash (white plug iirc)

Plug thingy screws into where the speedo cable used to, but as i dont know how much youve got off your box/inc with your digi dash i dont know.

where does speedo cable screw in? i assume u mean gearbox end

You dont have a speedo cable anymore, you have a transducer, black and has 2 letters (AK/AA/AH) on the side, when you unscrew the speedo cable it screws straight onto where you removed it.

His is SPI, so after weve been through this the easy way is to just come of the SPI VSS and be done with it

aye i missed that thought..... like i said go to the coil feeds. makes a neater job, if its spi it will just plug onto the existing terminal matey

All he needs to do is splic the exsisting red/blue on the Spi transducer. No need for the ign live/earth that way.
