Daft bonnet prob!

Stuck a new bonnet on and now i cant open it, pull leaver nothing happens, what can i do? :/

get a mate to lean on the bonnet, hold the catch right open in the car, then get the other mate to get off the bonnet while u still holdin the catch. should open it. then the bonnet needs adjusting-screw the pin (on bottom of bonnet) either in or out, i think this is done with a spanner, but cant remember. look in haynes manual.

if that dont work get a long steel bar with a pointy end and release the spring manually from under the car by putting the bar up thru the louvers on the bottom edge of the bumper and using the center support as a lever
