MOT failing

what modifications lead to your nova failing its MOT.

Chopping your springs, removing exhaust silencer boxes, upping mixture / timing to get more power, increases co2 emmisions and can also fail.

All of these are really bodging your car, if you carry out mods properly with the right kit you shouldn't have a probem. Make sure any engine mods are set up by people who know what they are doing too.

dehandled doors, lack of side repeaters, car to low to get on ramps, lack of fog light..

Fog light on wrong side if you have fitted coloured ones that are usually european spec. Tyres fouling rear arches.

they are supposed to fail it if the wiper doesnt park to one side - but tbh - who really cares

i mean if the emmissions are fukc or there is a major mechanical issue then fine but a wiper position :!:

so they prolly just ignored it

my tyres walls rub slightly on my arches with 4 people in my car. will my car fail an MOT on that??

alhough if there is evidence of it scrubbing the may take a closer look

Badly fitted seats, not straight and level
Putting your number plate in a stupid place and not having it lit.

mine failed on that last mondy also for my seat not clickin
to be secure. lose headlights,indicators not workin, fog light
not working
