Nova 1.4SR vs Saxo VTR

Hi all.
Does anyone know if Saxo VTR's are much faster than 1.4SR's? Anyone tried racing one? I have K&N filter and Janspeed exhaust and I was wondering if it would be worth trying to race one.

I piss on Saxo's in my standard engined 1.4 SRi. U should be able to keep up with them.

Simple Facts Saxo VTR 0-60 9.9. Nova 1.4 SRI 0-60 10.8. So in theory the saxo would win but if you're a better driver yes you will beat a Saxo VTR. Just don't confuse it with a VTS coz that would be embarrasing.

I have raced a modded VTR in my 1990 1.4 SR with backbox, K&N and splitfire leads - it was a 2 on 2 race and I pulled away slightly - much to my amazement but even more to his.....Ha Ha Ha

i've got a 1.3sr, and i've raced n beat one, plus iraced on on the motorway doin almost over 125! i had to slow down cos of slower cars in front! :)
